Three Obscure Memories, Memory 1. India.

Well, after my earlier vocal finds on the voice recorder on my phone, I decided that wasn’t really enough!

The chants and music was randomly recorded, so sadly I cannot credit the Vedic’s or the musicians by name. So instead, in honour to them and my contextualising of the melodic relevance of these three pieces, I have spliced together some images of my journey, in order to bring those times to life for you!

Memory number 1. India.

    1. Thank you J. At a point when I returned to England, I believed I had lost many of the baby pictures! My new phone started a new. Just a few I had shared on Facebook. However, 4 years later I realised there had been a backup on a flash drive taken from my old, broken Sony laptop! The girls and I had such a field day recounting the memories. πŸ’•πŸ’•

  1. I agree. This lovely video montage – and your earlier music post – really helped me connect with your book, which you know I’ve finished but it made me think back. It’s such an intense, vivid experience and such an incredible story of becoming a family; i think the visuals really help.

    1. I am very happy you confirmed that for me Anna. The randomness of the three separate and indeed very different melodies, on reflection, did not mirror the time that they enveloped me. I realised that finding the music once again, needed a reference point! Eh Voila. I thank you πŸ™ for your comment. πŸ™‚
