10 of the Children’s Besties

About a year ago, the children and I compiled a ‘Top 10 Besties’ list and tonight, again at dinnertime we did it once again!

All of our Crew were asked to do some agreeing for once – they had to compromise and agree on the results. Job well done guys…

Best TV show:

P J Masks

Best Movie:

Frozen

Best Meal:

Roast Dinner

Best Confectionary:

Lollipops (Though Thor insisted (again) on candy canes)

Best Vegetable:

Tomato

Best thing on Toast:

Dadda’s Jam (of course) once again!

Best subject at School:

P.E. (Physical Education) once again!

Best Song:

Paperback Writer – The Beatbugs

Best Game:

Big Bad Bear

Best Thing Ever:

A ‘No Brainer’ Really, Kit Koala and Kangy, MiMi, Chicky and Foxy and Doggy (The Children’s beloved soft toys) once again!

And not a single Unicorn or the colour pink was mentioned! Well, that’s the 10 Children’s Besties for our Crew at least! It certainly made a riot of dinnertime!

As you can see, a few things remained the same. But it is good to see that some things have also changed, as they all have developed and indeed changed a little over this last year.

As always, thank you for reading.

      1. That’s perfect and lovely to hear Margie! Sorry for my earlier comment! Food and agricultural policy is a funny business! I love to give jam as gifts you see and there’s nothing more thank I would like to send you some that I have made! Maybe on my next trip to the US, if I ever got to Miami, one day, I could bring some and US Mail it to you 😋

  1. What a fun compilation! I do not mind telling you I like Frozen myself, and I know the story of the PJ Masks . . . on some days the tune plays away in my head until I get rid of it . . . 🙂

    1. This read made me smile! Thank you for that Jaya. Yes, the sounds of some of the tunes that resonate! 😄 Mind you, best song was almost Frozen’s ‘Let it Go’! I’m so glad they love that Dadda wrote a paperback! It does make me smile, the way they just pick up on things! 😀

    1. Haha! We too love roast everything, all of us! And P J Masks was a real compromise! Everyone bar Tara lived Miraculous and everyone bar Amritsar lived Grizzly and the Lemmings! They did it just to spite each other! 😉
