The Births of Aaliyah and Caleb in Post Earthquake Nepal (2015)

Aaliyah and Caleb were born in a post earthquake Kathmandu Nepal, in the early summer of 2015. There were still tremors, the monsoon had kicked in, the sanitation was bad! But we made the best of it for the 5 long months it took the UK government to assist us in being able to come home! I thank Rekha and Bharti in being able to help out nannying in those difficult times. I was no stranger at the gate of the British Embassy, pleading for their assistance from the second the children were born. They just looked on and gave no assistance whatsoever!
