I really did not want to talk about the global pandemic you may remember, however all five children were sent home at 2.30 this afternoon from school to self isolate! The family lockdown is on. We have all lived with constant colds for around 4 years now, ever since the girls started at preschool. And then when the little ones followed – the colds just didn’t stop! Since our holiday in Cornwall I have personally suffered 2 separate colds lasting approximately 2 weeks each! We are only back 3 or 4 weeks remember.
With this kind of scenario one would be crazy to think the worse regarding Covid – 19. But Thor has an elevated temperature and all five are coughing away merrily at present.
This is the start of 14 days isolation for us! Our nanny Sindy fled once the children were in and undressed from their school uniforms. John has just arrived home, his office in disarray with the entire staff now working from home! He has just informed me that Sindy is willing to return in one weeks time!
I am sat here with Thor snuggling in besides me! I haven’t personally left the house for two weeks already now! All we can do is see how things progress from here I guess.
Good luck getting through this. You haven’t left the house in 2 weeks? Crap.
I guess you have some big hearted people who do your shopping.
Hang in there. Sending positive vibes.

Thank you Macey. I have actually been indoors (personally) for over 5 weeks now, the children and John for 3 weeks! I had a delivery account with Tesco (our supermarket and had booed weekly 5 slots for delivery. Our final one was last Friday! We are now back to venturing to the food shop! Sending positive vibes right back Macey 😉

I think most people are beginning to realize how very serious this global pandemic is.
I myself am getting very scared for how much worse it is going to get..
My husband and I are not venturing out except for going on walks with Hank.
Be safe and stay well, Andi .

I am with my grandkids and when Nolan goes down for a nap , I will be reading more of your book. 😉
Rose is off from school till further notice. My daughter went out to the store with my grocery list.
She does not want me to go out anywhere but I actually worry about her being out too. This virus is so easily spread and I guess there are a lot of people out there that have it and spreading it around and they do not know they have the virus. Scary days are getting scarier.

Yes, the indoor policy is wise enough, but the media are not helping to ease our worries on ‘daily life’. Children just storming downstairs, gotta go 😉 take care Margie
